Short description:



            The Fulbright Program in the U.S. scholarships for international students wishing to complete a Master's or PhD degree. The grants can be awarded for non-degree graduate study.

            It is administered by binational Fulbright Commissions / Foundations or U.S. Embassies. All Foreign Student Program applications are processed by these offices.

            Fulbright scholarships are for a variety of disciplines and areas, including the performing and visual arts, the sciences, mathematics, engineering and technology. Fulbright encourages applications from all areas, including interdisciplinary.

            The Fulbright Program will not fund applicants seek a medical degree program nor does it provide grants for those who want to do clinical medical research or education, patient care and / or contact, but it supports the public health and global health.

Number of Awards:

Approximately 1,800 scholarships are awarded to non-US citizens to study in the United States annually.


Target group:

            These scholarships for study in the U.S. for international students from Africa, East Asia and Pacific, Europe and Eurasia, the Middle East and North Africa, North and South America and South and Central Asia.



Scholarship Value / inclusions:


            The Fulbright program provides funding for the duration of the study.The grant also funded tuition fees, textbooks, airfare, a living allowance and health insurance. Visit the official site for the exact science inclusions.

            Outside the U.S., the Fulbright program of bi-national Fulbright Commissions / Foundations or U.S. Embassies will be managed.All Foreign Student Program applications are processed by these offices. Thus, foreign students for Fulbright Fellowships through the Fulbright Commission / Foundation or U.S. Embassy to apply in their home countries.
